Dental Care Alliance is currently looking for a full-time Employment & On-boarding Specialist to join our team. Our office is located in Lakewood Ranch, Florida 34240. RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for overall employee satisfaction to include customer service, while successfully on-board new employees into our payroll, timekeeping, and employee tracking system. Communicate company and position details to new hires before their start date, gathering necessary paperwork and scheduling first day. Ensure a smooth transition through the on-boarding, new hire and orientation process.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions**):
路 Create an engaging and inviting environment, coordinate with Office Managers in preparing for employee鈥檚 day one.
路 Serve as the main point of contact for all new and rehired employees; through genuine and positive communication, make each new hire feel informed, understood and important.
路 Manage onboarding communication via email, phone and web-based tools.
路 Serve as coordinator to recruiters/hiring managers in determining how the on-boarding processes are working and recommends changes in overcoming roadblocks that hinder the processes.
路 Document onboarding activity.
路 Gather essential new hire paperwork (I-9, Tax Forms, Direct Deposit, etc.).
路 Serve as point of contact with on-boarding employees associated with new affiliations/acquisitions.
路 Maintain knowledge and understanding of licensing, background and other applicable laws and regulations to ensure compliance during onboarding process.
路 Ensure required documentation is received and reflected in the appropriate system
路 Maintain a broad knowledge of company policies and benefit plans.
路 Participate in activities designed to improve the onboarding process.
路 Service as the main point of contact for applicant and internal employee鈥檚 questions and concerns.
路 Build rapport with employees and applicants by ensuring the overall experience for both temporary employees and regular employees is a positive one.
路 Collect, analyze and maintain data gathered to provide to leadership. Work Environment: This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. This position requires 10% - 20% travel. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.
Education & Qualifications/Training: High School Diploma or equivalent required
Associates Degree or combination of related education and experience preferred
