Overview

The Senior Director of the Cybersecurity Services Program Office has a key leadership role on the Cybersecurity Services Organization team at the Center for Internet Security. This position will work cross functionally with multiple CIS teams to develop, implement, and manage security products and services offered to State, Local, Tribal and Territorial (SLTT) organizations. The Senior Director of the Cybersecurity Services Program Office will be responsible for overall program and project management for these products and services including the following: product conceptualization; customer and vendor contract management; budgeting, pricing, and expense tracking; and customer satisfaction. This position will be a key agent for driving the maturity of Cybersecurity Services offered to the State, Local, Tribal and Territorial (SLTT) community.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and lead the implementation of strategic direction for the Cybersecurity Services Program, encompassing existing and planned services and programs, working closely with SLTT organizations and the Executive Committees of the Multi-State and Elections Infrastructure Information Sharing and Analysis Center (ISAC) organizations
  • Oversee projects being executed by the Cybersecurity Services Program to ensure that they are following best practices and that the projects are on track to deliver the expected results to SLTT organizations
  • Lead engagement efforts with third party security product and service vendors working closely with internal and external stakeholders
  • Manage the Cybersecurity Services P&L including developing budgets, establishing pricing, and tracking revenue and expenses
  • Continuously evaluate market conditions to adjust products and services as well as pricing models
  • Coordinate with CIS Engineering, the ISAC Security Operations Center (SOC), and other CIS organizations as appropriate to ensure coordination, process definition, and effective and timely support for the products and services managed by the Cybersecurity Services Program
  • Develop and gain agreement on project and program objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring feasibility, effectiveness, and affordability
  • Track and report on program performance to internal and external stakeholders, including ISAC Executive Committees, CIS senior management, and the CIS Board of Directors, identifying and ensuring timely action on program issues
  • Identify and manage program risks and ensure that risk mitigation steps are taken in a timely manner
  • Manage relationships among stakeholders, including internal and external customers, contractors, and vendors
  • Lead, coach, develop, and manage the Cybersecurity Services Program team
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or a related field*
  • 6 to 8+ years’ experience in business, technical and/or program management
  • 5+ years’ experience in a management function spanning multiple company-wide technology programs and including P&L responsibility
  • Experience in vendor/contractor negotiations and management of multiple concurrent contracts
  • Experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change management
  • Experience developing processes and procedures in an Agile environment to drive project/program management maturity
  • Experience developing and managing departmental budgets and product pricing as well as demonstrated strong financial acumen
  • Significant client-facing experience and excellent communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

It's a Plus if You Have:

  • Advanced degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field
  • Non-profit experience
  • Strong presentation capabilities
  • Strong working knowledge of data analysis and performance metrics using business management software (e.g. CRM)

*Additional years of relevant experience or a combination of an Associate’s degree or equivalent and relevant experience may be substituted for the Bachelor’s degree.
