Overview






  • Tier One Technologies is looking for a Sr. Cyber Security Engineer/Architect to support our US Government client.
  • This is going to be a 100% remote position.








Responsibilities






  • Lead special projects or investigations into specific technology or solution issues and to shepherd research and piloting of new technologies.
  • Serve as a point of contact for engineering efforts and has overall responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of the customer's private enclave while maintaining compliance with the customer's enterprise-wide architecture policies and guidelines.
  • Provide support to all security environments and provide anti-virus solutions.
  • Provide support for various applications and implement all company’s standards.
  • Remediate systems across multiple networks.
  • Perform risk analysis on assigned computer systems and applications for all network life cycle and manage communications with internal/external customers.
  • Assist in transition of security policies for IA configurations.








Qualifications






  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline; or the equivalent combination of education; professional training or work experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Information Security Operations and/or related IT operational functions.
  • CERTIFICATIONS: (One or more required):
    • CompTIA Net+
    • CompTIA A+
    • CompTIA Security +
    • CPTE - Certified Penetration Testing Engineer
    • CEH - Certified Ethical Hacker GSEC
    • Certified Information System Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must be able to obtain a Position of Public Trust Clearance.
  • Be able to pass a drug screening, criminal history, and credit checks.
  • Must be a US Citizen or have permanent residence status (Green Card).
  • Must have lived in the United States for the past 5 years.
  • Cannot have more than 6 months travel outside the United States within the last five years. Military Service excluded. (Exception does not include military family members.)
