We’re seeking a driven, action-oriented self-starter to join our team as a Senior Product Manager to help build and manage features and experiencesΒ which engage customers and keep them coming back to the Spruce mobile application.Β To date, this includes savings features, notifications, budgeting and credit score visibility.

Leading a collaborative squad of engineering, design, and product colleagues, you will manage the backlog and prioritization of features from ideation, research, and business case to launch and ongoing maintenance. Working with stakeholders, partners, and customers to craft a product that accomplishes goals within timeframes and funding allocated, you will be the engine behind the product.Β  This role will report to the Director of Product for Spruce and will provide exposure to a range of business and functional leaders.


Day to day, you'll..
  • Function as the product manager responsible for engagement-driving features. This includes leading ceremonies, being integral part of the culture of the squad, and balancing the health of the squad.Β 
  • Act as the customer’s voice within the product development process; provide customer insight and prioritize with them in mind.
  • Maintain strong understanding of the industry for consumer financial services applications through desk research and participation in industry conferences, webinars and other sources.
  • Develop epics, features, user stories, and roadmaps the squad’s areas, working with your Technical Lead to understand dependencies and requirements.
  • Maintain and prioritize the squad backlog to balance new feature development, continuous improvement of existing features, and infrastructure updates.
  • Regularly analyze and report on performance of features and experiences managed by the squad.
  • Collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders to support end to end delivery including operational leaders, marketing teams, legal and compliance teams, customer service, other squads, and external partners.
  • Continually discover engagement improvement ideas from internal sources, industry best practices, and customer feedback.
